Vince Russo's 10 Reasons WWE Will Never Be Great Again

3. Vince McMahon Is Getting Older

The older you get, the more difficult it is to keep your pulse on the heartbeat of America. And, in wrestling€™s case, what€™s going on in the world when it comes to TV, entertainment and pop culture. Trust me, I know. At 53 years-old I have to work on this every, single day. I do research on a daily basis to try and understand what the audience wants and expects from what it chooses to watch. Vince McMahon has lost touch with this. He is still presenting his product much the same way his father before him did. And, this is not a knock by any means. There just comes a point when it passes you by---you can€™t help it---I€™m getting there, I know I am. Vince needs to find the people that he can put around him and TRUST. People that he, himself, would actually listen to. And, I know he€™s capable of listening because say what you want about me . . . but, Vince heard me. And, for whatever reason he trusted me. He just doesn€™t seem to have that today.
