WCPW: 9 Things You Need To Know About Noam Dar

1. Grado Got Him Detained At A US Airport

Okay, not just Grado, but a mixture of Grado and Dar's nerves at heading to the United States of America for the first time. As the two headed out to Nashville (via New York) to take part in TNA's British Boot Camp, for whatever reason Grado decided to spend the flight to New York riling up Dar's nerves, telling him to inform whoever he was stopped by at customs that he was on holiday and nothing else.

Grado had been to the States a few times, and being a fairly excitable young Scottish man isn't going to prick the ears of US State Security. As such he swanned past, all loud and brash as expected. Dar was detained however, and asked question after question after question regarding his stay.

The reason for his detention boiled down to a fairly simple assumption; this was Dar's first time in the United States, and he was flying into New York to immediately get a connection to Nashville, and he is claiming to be on holiday? What sort of tourist misses New York completely and heads to Nashville? It's a fair point, I'm sure you'll agree.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
