WCPW Built To Destroy: 10 Awesome Moments
2. Rampage Wipes Out Adam Blampied
There's just something about Adam Blampied that instantly comes across as smarmy and unlikeable. This is not a criticism of the man as a performer, he worked wonders at Built To Destroy. One of the best talkers on the WCPW roster, Blampied didn't have things his own way on the show.
Initially leading Rampage into battle for the WCPW Championship, things went sour for Adam when he instructed his man to hit a banned Piledriver on Big Damo. Once Rampage had refused, Blampied entered the ring and shockingly slapped him. That was too much for the beast-like wrestler, who levelled his former manager with a stiff Clothesline.
No bump was necessary here, Rampage ran right through Blampied. If he hadn't fallen, his head might have been knocked off of his shoulders. Credit where credit is due, Blampied took the blow like a real pro.
Fans responded in kind, cheering for Rampage and thanking him for taking out the loudmouth WhatCulture personality. Incredibly, things would go from dramatic to apoplectic, at least from a fan perspective.
