WCPW Loaded Episode 10: 10 Awesome Moments
7. Kirby-oke
From impressive in-ring work to perhaps the most random series of segments in WCPW history up until this point. Martin Kirby is certainly not a predictable chap, and he was on top form come Loaded. Buoyed by a terrific victory last week, Kirby was in the mood to celebrate with a little sing song.
Such merriment was earned, Kirby had to overcome the fittingly bruising presence of Pete Dunne before he could embrace his so-called 'Kirb Crawlers'. Dunne's downfall came partly due to his focus on trying to bite his opponent's fingers, and he was caught with a quick roll up then pinned.
Inviting General Manager Adam Pacitti to give him the WCPW Title shot he felt he deserved, Kirby also elected to shut down the show by indulging in some karaoke. From Summer Of 69, to renditions of Amarillo and Living On A Prayer, the bald-headed funny man called this segment 'Kirby-oke'.
Eventually, he was able to draw Pacitti out from the backstage area, but WCPW's chief authority figure wanted the wrestler to leave as soon as humanly possible. Unfortunately for Pacitti, that didn't happen.
