WCPW Loaded Episode 10: 10 Awesome Moments
8. Joe Coffey Gives Prince Ameen A Royal Kicking
The 'Iron Man' Joe Coffey has a big month ahead. At Refuse To Lose on October 6, the Scottish powerhouse will face Japanese legend Minoru Suzuki in one-on-one action. Live on iPPV, Coffey will surely have his hands full against the former GHC Heavyweight Champion.
To put things into perspective, Suzuki made his in-ring debut in 1988. Shockingly, that was the year Joe Coffey was born, meaning this is a true battle of differing generations. This week on Loaded though, Coffey had Prince Ameen on his mind, and he wasn't about to let the loudmouth get away with another cheap count out loss.
Following Gabriel Kidd's clever display of improvisation, Coffey smashed Ameen with a Spinning Lariat for the pinfall victory. The result was a crowd-pleaser, as WCPW enthusiasts ready themselves to see Coffey trade eye-watering strikes with his future Japanese opponent.
For now though, Joe Coffey can look back on a job well done. The Kurt Angle Invitational Battle Royal was a disappointment for one of WCPW's most obvious physical specimens, but he refuses to dwell.
