WCPW Loaded Episode 8: 10 Awesome Moments

1. Joe Hendry Wins The Kurt Angle Invitational Rumble

Primate Joe Hendry
Oli Sandler / The Ringside Perspective

For Joe Hendry, WCPW has offered a new lease of life. Initially looking to make his mark on the tag-team division, Hendry was then brutally cast aside by Joseph Conners. With that, his dreams to become WCPW Heavyweight Champion have vanished for now, but Hendry had another objective in mind on this episode of Loaded.

Outlasting pretty much everybody, including the likes of Primate, Joe Coffey and Doug Williams and Ethan Carter III, Joe Hendry fulfilled his ambition and will now square off against Kurt Angle on October 6. The title of that iPPV is Refuse To Lose, fittingly Hendry's mantra on Loaded here.

In almost poetic fashion, it was Angle's own Olympic Slam that allowed Hendry to topple EC3 over the top rope to the ringside mats below. Exploding with emotion, Joe had managed to rekindle some of the magic his detractors felt he had lost by losing his shot at the WCPW Title.

Things may never be over between Conners and Hendry, but now the latter has something huge to focus on. Against Kurt Angle, Joe Hendry has the chance to shock the world.
