At first, El Ligero and Ethan Carter III were supposed to square off in a straight singles match. On a roll from other announcements (which we'll get to), Eric Bischoff added Pete Dunne to the fray and made the match a Triple Threat situation. The 'Bruiserweight' was intent on making an impact during his WCPW debut.

Making the most of his chance, Dunne couldn't help but show why he's considered immensely dangerous to the health of his opponents. Firstly, he chomped down on the fingers of El Ligero, causing the masked man to yelp in agony and retreat into the corner. Later, Dunne did the exact same thing to EC3, stopping his momentum.

Exactly zero of the three men involved could trust one another, they knew a win was vital here. That fact didn't stop Ligero and Carter from forming a fleeting alliance, choosing to simultaneously bite Pete Dunne's fingers as the newcomer looked on in sheer shock.

This came shortly before Ligero picked up another win, once again proving he's quite the dark horse competitor in WCPW.
