Then:

John Tenta was unfortunately saddled with the lamest gimmick in the concoction of a stable that was the Dungeon of Doom. Nothing about his gear or demeanour gave shark leaving Tenta looking like he'd had to borrow ring gear from a more amphibious wrestler.

After:

Tenta left WCW in 1998, returning to WWE as Golga, a member of The Oddities. Hidden behind a mask and always brandishing a stuffed Eric Cartman toy, Tenta and his stablemates stunk up every match and segment they were involved in. He was released in early 1999. After a one-night return to WCW, Tenta spent the conclusion of his career competing in Japan. He retired from the ring in 2003.

Diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2004, the disease took his life at the age of 42 on 7th June 2006.

Last Match:

George Hines, John Tenta & Robbie Brookside defeated Hiroshi Hase, Masayuki Kono & Shigeo Okumura – AJPW Summer Action Series 2003, 19th July 2003
