Then:

'The Man from Tokyo' and a representative of NJPW received a warm welcome to The Mall of America. This was due in part to the hype on the mic from ring announcer David Penzer. Liger nailed classic cruiserweight offence while still serving a hard hitting style designed to gently initiate '90s Western fans to the cruiserweight style.

After:

Liger is one of the most recognisable Japanese talents in the West, having wowed in WCW, ROH, and TNA. His appearance at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 2015, in which he defeated the criminally underrated Tyler Breeze, was a highlight of the peak-NXT card. Liger was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame Class 2020. Though retired from in-ring action, Liger remains an ambassador for Japanese wrestling.

Last Match:

Hiromu Takahashi & Ryu Lee defeated Jushin Thunder Liger & Naoki Sano – NJPW Wrestling Kingdom 14 (2020)
