Then:

From his bombastic entrance to his bedazzled red ring gear, Pillman exuded charisma from the minute he sprinted out from behind the curtain. Though he would leave the bout victorious, this was far from Pillman's best match with commentary drawing attention that he was having "a hard time with that headscissors take over tonight" after he botched the move twice. However, Pillman impressed with his grit, determination, and enough top rope action to justify his 'Flyin'' title. He won via roll-up without looking weak.

After:

When he jumped to WWE, Pillman's 'Loose Cannon' gimmick helped to usher in the company's Attitude Era, with the "Pillman's got a gun" segment still discussed today. However, Pillman would not see the era come into fruition. On 5th October 1997, Pillman passed away as a result of undetected atherosclerotic heart disease. As a member of the AEW roster his son Brian Pillman Jr. keeps the Pillman legacy alive.

Last Match:

Goldust defeated Brian Pillman – WWE House Show, 4th October 1997
