17. Sting
Then:
First appearing in a brief pre-filmed promo, a pink and purple sting dripping in sequins, his lines were fairly innocuous. Yet his wide eyed, gravely delivery, added some mystique. Sting's captivating gimmicks from The Crow onwards often distracted from his raw power and technical finesse that were both on display during his title defence.

Sting became an icon in the industry as a top tier talent in both WCW and TNA. In the latter, he showcased his ability to move with the times, reinvent himself, and stay at the front of the pack. Sting notably was one of the longest holdouts in jumping to to WWE; his 2014 run at least landed him in the Hall of Fame (Class of 2016).
Though in his 60s, Sting isn't content in sitting back. On AEW, he is lending his star power to the brand and elevating rookie talents.
