WCW/ECW Alliance - Where Are They Now?

Steven Richards

After the Right to Censor broke up, Richards took a little time off and disappeared from WWE TV. He returned in September 2001 and cut a promo on The Undertaker, which led to 'Taker and Kane's infamous match with Kronik. After that debacle, Richards mainly appeared on Velocity until he was 'fired' when the Alliance lost at Survivor Series. He returned to the fray in spring 2002 as part of the manic 24/7 hardcore division and then found a more stable role as Victoria's manager. After they broke up, Richards struggled to find his feet, having a short run in the re-formed bWo before moving on to the revamped ECW on Sci-Fi. Richards was used mostly as an enhancement talent on the brand and was released in August 2008 as a cost-cutting measure. Following his release, he did the requisite ex-WWE star tour of TNA and also wrestled on the indies. He's still active on the indies and recently had a match against Ring of Honor Champion Jay Lethal. Despite it being a losing effort, he's vowed to come back.
