What If Brock Lesnar Joined AEW

6. The Second Exalted One?!

There is a lot more to Brock Lesnar than throwing fools around in five-minute matches. Remember Brock and the briefcase? The range of reactions he showed in his record-breaking Royal Rumble performance last year? His frequent remarks in the direction of his advocate, Paul Heyman? Brock Lesnar isn't afraid of bringing personality and comedy into his pro wrestling.

Why not have Brock interact quite a bit with The Dark Order? The group are going to be in a difficult position moving forward, a collection of sheep lost without a leader. Brock Lesnar should not replace Brodie Lee as The Exalted One, nobody should, but it makes all the sense in the world for Silver, Reynolds and the rest to look in the direction of Brock for guidance and leadership.

There is an ulterior motive to this. As Brock deals with the attention of the members of The Dark Order, fans around the world will grow ever restless with how little of an impact Lesnar is making in AEW. Sure, he beat Cody and smashed his way through Team Taz, but this is Brock freakin' Lesnar we're talking about here. He's just as part-time as he was in WWE!

O ye, of little faith. This isn't WWE, this is AEW. Patience is a virtue.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
