“What If” Scenarios That Would Have Transformed WWE History

1. The Pandemic Era Never Happened

While few will understandably have too many fond memories of the time when they were forced to stay locked up inside of their homes, WWE was actually surprisingly changed for the better during that unexpected and unpredictable spell in human history.

Sensing that those in desperate need of entertaining around the world would likely struggle to sit through a whopping 7+ hours of crowd-less WrestleMania content not long after the planet had been shut down, and wanting to reduce the amount of folks backstage during these scary COVID-19 times, WWE made the wise call to split the 'Show of Shows' into a two-night epic.

Maybe there's a chance WWE would have eventually sensed just how much of a slog the WrestleMania experience had become without the pandemic forcing them to seriously rethink their biggest show of the year. But it's more likely one-night sports entertainment marathons would have remained.

Cinematic classics like the Boneyard fight and Firefly Funhouse battle most likely wouldn't have been creatively born either, with the 'Deadman' probably just limping around Raymond James Stadium in yet another forgettable dream match against a 'Phenomenal' star.

And if Roman Reigns didn't choose to step away from the company due to this unprecedented situation, would the 'Tribal Chief' at the head of the wrestling table today have even made its way into the WWE Universe? Maybe the 'Big Dog' would still be feeding his rivals Pedigree chunks today.

Put simply, the pandemic era wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, but there were certainly some silver linings to be found.
