What Kind Of Shape Is Steve Austin In Ahead Of WrestleMania 38?
An update on 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's physical condition as he prepares to fight Kevin Owens.
'Stone Cold' Steve Austin is believed to be in top physical condition ahead of WrestleMania 38, where he will be Kevin Owens' guest on the KO Show.
Speaking on the Sunday Night's Main Event podcast, Dave Meltzer stated that he had been told Austin was in "fantastic shape" ahead of the 2 April Owens confrontation, which is expected to get physical.
While it doesn't look like initial reports of Austin potentially working his first WWE match in 19 years at 'Mania 38 will come to fruition, Meltzer added that "there is going to be a fight" in Dallas, Texas. Unquestionably, Owens and Austin will brawl, with 'Stone Cold' doing more than just hitting a Stunner - and the 57-year-old is training "very hard" for it.
Meltzer expects the brawl to last around seven minutes in total. Match or no match, it sounds like fans will witness Austin's most significant physical work since losing to The Rock at WrestleMania XIX in 2003.
Owens donned a skullcap and Austin's signature attire to parody the 'Rattlesnake' on last night's episode of WWE Raw. Thus far, their feud has revolved almost entirely around KO ripping into Steve's home state, Texas.
