Why Cesaro Is Finally Getting A WWE Push

5. That WrestleMania Show-Stealer

Cesaro WrestleMania 37
WWE

As of this writing, the first night of WrestleMania 37 is in the record books. And as it stands, Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins absolutely stole the show as the best match of this year's Showcase of the Immortals.

That's not to say that the rest of Night 1 wasn't great - it really, really was - but this contest between two of the finest in-ring talents in the game was the greatest match of 'Mania's first night for so many wrestling fans.

What the best match of WrestleMania is or was, is of course subjective. If you feel that Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks edges it on that front, or maybe Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre gets your vote, there's still no doubting that Cesaro and Rollins put on a fantastic pro wrestling match on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

At 12 minutes, some may have liked to have seen the match go a little longer, but Cesaro vs. Rollins delivered in a big way. And while Seth has WrestleMania battles with heavy hitters like Brock Lesnar, Triple H and Randy Orton on his résumé, this was a coming out party of sorts for Cesaro - with him proving that he can hang with the biggest stars on the biggest stage.
