Why Cesaro Is Finally Getting A WWE Push

4. He Maximises Minutes

That 12-minute WrestleMania 37 bout is the perfect example of how Cesaro makes the most of every single minute he's given.

Jim Ross has long cited how important it is for a talent to "maximise their minutes", and JR is absolutely right. Regardless of how small a role you're handed, no matter how low down the food chain you are, all a talent can do is do the best job possible with whatever task they're given.

If you do that, a company will realise you can be depended on, which in theory should lead to further opportunities.

With the case of Cesaro, this is a talent who very much maximises his minutes and who can be relied on to turn chicken sh*t into chicken salad, to make something bad passable, and to make something good great.

When WWE opted to introduce him as a yodelling rugby player, Cesaro did his best to make it work. When he became a Real American, he did his best to make it work. When he was randomly thrown together with Tyson Kidd, the two created one of the great, underappreciated tag teams of the modern era. Similarly, when his rivalry with Sheamus resulted in The Bar, that was another modern-day great tandem.

Anything WWE has asked Cesaro to do, he's done everything in his power to make it as good as can possibly be. And should WWE go all-in on the Swiss Cyborg at some point in the future, you know he'll likewise make the most of that chance.
