Why Edge Just Apologised To Fellow WWE Legend Kurt Angle

It's never too late to apologise. Just ask WWE icons Edge and Kurt Angle.

It took him approx 20 years to do so, but Edge has finally apologised to Kurt Angle for starting the famous "You Suck" chants back in 2001.

Angle posted video of a segment from an episode of Raw that year on his Instagram page, and jokingly said, "Thanks a lot Edge" in the caption. Replying, the Canadian said, "Sorry Kurt. Love you. Makes you feel any better I’m wearing pleather pants and a wet spandex button up".

Amazing.

Maybe Edge will bring back the pleather and "wet spandex" look on SmackDown when he returns from a brief lay off post-WrestleMania 37. Or, maybe not. Yeah, don't bet on it.

Seriously though, this was a touching moment between two legends. Kurt has always recognised how big a role Edge played in establishing him. That goes two ways; Edge regards his later 2002 feud with Angle as one of his first true breakout singles moments in the company.

20 years on from that, the 'Rated-R Superstar' has said sorry for chants that have plagued his pal ever since. "You Suck" eventually became a term of endearment from fans though, at least.
