Why Everyone Is Wrong About THIS WrestleMania 39 Car Crash
Omos is nowhere near the worker of any of the men previously mentioned. He probably is the most limited wrestler Brock will have faced since he last wrestled Goldberg. So this will hardly be a technical affair. But then again, which of Lesnar’s recent matches have been?
Unlike many of Brock’s previous opponents, this challenger is going to be unique. As a first-time matchup, the question posed over and over from the announcers (and MVP) is whether Lesnar can actually throw Omos around with German suplexes as he’s accustomed, or whether he can hoist the Nigerian Giant onto his shoulders for an F-5.
Brock hasn’t faced too many men who are that much bigger than him. Big Show and Braun Strowman jump to mind, but Omos is a good half-foot taller than Braun and can see over the top of Show’s head. He also outweighs Strowman.
Omos also has only left his feet really once, against Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 38 last year via a low-angle suplex. Brock’s entire offense is rooted in being able to manhandle and throw his opponents around like the proverbial sack of potatoes.
And that gives us the very simple story of whether this ageing combat sports veteran can rely on his go-to moves, or if he’ll have to get creative to topple this giant.
