Why Wrestling Is About To Make The Biggest Mistake Of The Century

And that's why it is imperative that these children thrash out their differences and make some money. The ultimate irony here is that both sides want to change wrestling, albeit in different ways, but they might only be able to accomplish that goal by working towards it together. And, writing from the perspective of somebody who is a complete mark for all six of them, and who thinks that Kenny Omega is the greatest wrestler in history, they are children.

The events of the Wednesday 23 Dynamite compelled many to believe that Punk might be closer to a return than he was last week, but this isn't the case. The Elite simply trolled him - by losing a match in Chicago in which they showed ass and were punished for f*cking around, it should be noted - because they knew it was the best means of eliciting the best, celebratory reaction from a hostile crowd. And, of course, because they wanted to. The usual refrain echoed across the internet: "Oh, those passive aggressive Elite bitches couldn't help themselves, as usual". CM Punk actually fired the first shot, by bragging about his "hurt hand" when commentating for Fury MMA before that now infamous episode of Dynamite aired.

FTR are closer to the Bucks than their fans are prepared to admit. Dax Harwood is a symphony of passive aggressive behaviour. "The dictionary defines..." is the most hack way imaginable of framing a take, so apologies: if you were to look up passive aggressive in an online dictionary, it would simply be a hyperlink to his Twitter page.

They are all childish. Every last one of them. Childish geniuses who need to work together.
