Why WWE Pulled THAT Ricky Saints Segment From Social Media (NXT News)

WWE has pulled Ricky Saints' Absolute Experience concert from socials.

While he ultimately came up short in his quest to defeat Joe Hendry and become a two-time NXT Champion at Vengeance Day last weekend, Ricky Saints' concert in the lead to that PLE has been quietly pulled from WWE's social media channels.

On the Vengeance Day go-home edition of NXT, Saints did an Absolute Experience concert segment, poking fun at Hendry ahead of their match. However, the segment itself was a little rough around the edges, with Fightful Select reporting that WWE opted to remove that concert from socials after it was "poorly received".

This Fightful report notes that the concert wasn't Abslute's idea or a pitch from him, and he's said to have tried to lean out of things on WWE programming that may draw comparisons to things the Rock has done previously. As for the segment itself, it received a "lukewarm" reception backstage, though sources Fightful spoke to don't expect this to negatively impact Saints or Hendry moving forward, and it was felt the pair "recovered well" for Vengeance Day.

Moving forward, Fightful was told that most in NXT didn't expect Ricky Saints to be with the developmental brand for a full year after his arrival in February 2025, with plentiful rumblings in recent weeks and months that the Stroke Daddy could be one of those NXT talents who finds himself heading to the main roster in the near future. In that regard, Saints is in the conversation with the likes of Ethan Page, Lola Vice, and Sol Ruca as NXT names regularly linked with making the jump to Raw or SmackDown sooner rather than later.
