Peak New Japan stopped giving a toss around World Tag League season. Episodes of Dynamite wedged directly between pay-per-views are sometimes trope-infested throwaways designed to drive TV-tier programmes before the real business of selling a destination show unfolds. WWE doesn't try after WrestleMania. This has been the case for years and years.

Sometimes, wrestling is bad. When it is pointed out as being bad, it is not a personal insult. It is a critique of a pro wrestling promotion that shouldn't define your personality. Basing your personality around fandom can only result in bad things.

The backstage intrigue is often more interesting than the TV. Social media and the message boards that predate it are meant to deepen the enjoyment of a hobby. Using social media for this purpose could be a productive or enjoyable use of one's time. Too often, it isn't.

Diving into the first person momentarily, I think the Young Bucks are the best tag team of all time.
