Will Ospreay Goes OFF On WWE: "Do Not F**king Step To Us Ever Again" (AEW News)
"We are the best pro wrestling in the entire f**king world. Do not f**king step to us ever again."
Having retained the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley in the All Out main event last night, Will Ospreay had some stern words for any other wrestling promotions out there.
Speaking at the post-All Out media scrum, Ospreay talked about how special it was to headline his first PPV as the defending AEW World Champion, and that the Now Arena venue for All Out sold out based on three matches: Ospreay vs. Moxley, Brawling Birds vs. Divine Dominion, and Cope & Christian vs. Young Bucks vs. FTR.
From there, the Aerial Assassin seemingly referenced WWE running its Worlds Collide crossover show at the Allstate Arena last night, which is roughly 20 minutes away from the Now Arena; a move seen by many as being a clear attempt at counterprogramming All Out.
As Ospreay put it:
"Everyone who came to this show tonight chose the right company. We deliver the best PPVs, the best professional wrestling. Any time anyone wants to come and step to us, here's the reality for you: we're going to knock you down two f**king levels. We are the best pro wrestling in the entire f**king world. Do not f**king step to us ever again."
Will Ospreay would also use this media scrum to announce the next challenger for his AEW World Title, making a point to call out Kazuchika Okada, praising Okada for his work mentoring Will in Japan, and challenging him for a title match at AEW Grand Slam: France on October 6th. As the Rainmaker was beckoned into the media scrum by Ospreay, his response to this callout was a simple "Bonjour, b**ches".
