Another one, with Melina, who should've been inducted into WWE's Hall of Fame a long time ago (and before a Stacy Keibler), Lisa Marie Varon served the company for a good ten years as Victoria. At the turn of the millenium, she competed in several matches one might deem classics: a hardcore battle against Trish at Survivor Series 2002, the first women's Steel Cage match against Lita in 2003 or a Hair vs. Title match opposing Molly Holly at WMXX. Unfortunately, she hit a creative peak early in her WWE career, and spent the second part of the 2000s in second-rate storylines.

That hit-and-miss booking continued in TNA (the tarantula, the mystery biker persona) but at least she made up for lost time by winning five Knockouts titles between 2009 and 2012. Experienced enough to be considered a veteran, she wrestled with the energy of a newcomer, bringing credibility, star power and in-ring quality to the Knockouts scene.

Varon is now regarded as a legend in both federations, a groundbreakingly athletic performer and an influence on many stars of today. Not bad for someone whose first gig in the wrestling world was as The Godfather's "head hoe"...
