Women's Wrestlers With The Most World Titles (Across All Major Promotions)
8. Angelina Love (7)
6 TNA Knockouts World Championships
1 Women of Honor World Championship
One word that comes to mind to describe Angelina Love is "mainstay". From her beginning at Bound For Glory 2007, where she competed in a battle royal for the inaugural Knockouts Championship, to her intergender Full Metal Mayhem match alongside Davey Richards at Slammiversary 2017, the "Psycho Girl" served TNA for a solid ten years (with slight intermissions), and is without doubt the most important of the original Knockouts with Gail Kim and Awesome Kong.
Love is of course mostly associated with The Beautiful People, a faction that was a major creative success for TNA. The Mean Girls-inspired, heel prima donna gimmick might have seemed outdated, even then, but Love and Velvet Sky excelled with it. The makeovers (including Roxxi's infamous head shave), the debut of Winter, the betrayals and new alliances: it all worked, it all kept the content interesting.
That's not to say Love's booking in Impact was faultless. After all, she did win one of her world titles by... opening a box. Still, her six Knockouts championships are yet to be surpassed by anyone other than Gail Kim, and for a long time she stood as one of the best performers in one of the best-ever divisions in North American women's wrestling.
