WrestleMania 30 Results: 10 People Who Will Profit Most

4. Triple H

How does the man who lost to Daniel Bryan and saw his attempt to cheat emerge with his credentials boosted? Triple H is known more than anything for his ego, which has occasionally got in the way of logic and of fan service, particularly since he came to power: he could have followed through on his pre-WrestleMania promise that not only would he destroy Bryan, but he would also come away as the Champion after beating Batista and Randy Orton, and few people would have batted too much of an eyelid. He could have screwed Bryan again, and basked in the crowd heat, and he wouldn't have lost anything at all. But, to his eternal credit, Triple H did something else entirely. The match could have been a sloppy, over-emotional mess, but instead, the decision was made to make it an impressively technical affair instead, and the result was a very entertaining match, that again wasn't ruined by Hunter's ego. Time and time again in the past, he has orchestrated matches that he clearly thinks more of than fans, but in standing toe-to-toe with Bryan, and allowing him to win a technical match cleanly, Triple H's reputation should have been boosted. And with that out of the way, he was able to get dirty revenge in Bryan's Championship match, showing the other side of the character, which was a much, much smarter idea.
