WrestleMania 30 Results: 10 People Who Will Profit Most
3. Brock Lesnar
The match was not pretty, but that's really not what matters here, because all that anyone will remember is how it ended. It is true that Lesnar should never have been beaten, and it would have been an awful lot more fitting had he ended the Streak as an undefeated contender, since this felt a lot like Batman getting bested by the Joker, only after Robin and Batgirl had already beaten him, but the Beast should see a bump after the event. If the biggest reason behind the defeat was that 'Taker is about to retire after a career that has broken him several times (and which ultimately saw him admitted to hospital after WrestleMania once again,) the reason the opportunity fell to Lesnar seems to be that the WWE are going to invest in his profile. He made a mistake in leaving the WWE for a failed NFL career, even if his UFC stint faired better, and he has been lumbered with a reductive part-timer label since, but hopefully this occasion will see the company invest in his considerable talents.
