WrestleMania 33: 10 Matches That Should Have Happened

6. Roman Reigns Vs Braun Strowman

Hamstrung by their own pay-per-view schedule, Roman Reigns' ending of Braun Strowman's undefeated streak at Fastlane was a predictably excellent tussle that could have easily lit up a WrestleMania card.

Strowman has improved to such a degree that he now seems far too strong for the Battle Royal place he seems destined to be stuck with, and a whilst Reigns/Undertaker is a genuinely captivating encounter, a slightly less significant contest may have been the spot Roman needed on the WrestleMania card to aid his gradual reestablishment as a key player in WWE's future.

Braun has been cruelly relegated to a third man spot in the Reigns/Undertaker programme following his defeat, and WWE can't recapture his star aura if they flush it away at such a crucial time in his ascension.

Everything about the Fastlane match between the two would have worked as a direction for the 'Showcase of the Immortals'.

Braun was an unbeaten monster who had cost Reigns the Universal Title, so the stakes were huge, and a result left in genuine doubt would have been ideal for the stadium setting not likely to give Roman the easiest of nights.
