WrestleMania 33: 13 Early Match Predictions

2. The Undertaker vs. John Cena - Career vs. Career

The Undertaker is rumored to be telling people he€™s done with wrestling. Vince McMahon is very persuasive, though, and so is a giant pile of money. Yes, if Taker called it a career right now he would get to go out with a win in his home state, but does he really want final dragon to slay to be Shane McMahon?

Mania 32 was originally supposed to feature John Cena vs. Taker until Cena went down with an injury. It would be a bit of a shame if this match never happened again. The two haven€™t locked up in a true contest since Cena became a top babyface, making this one of the biggest dream matches the company could hope to pull off. With Sting/Taker now off the table for good, Cena/Taker should be built as soon as possible; Taker willing of course.

The best way to get mileage out of this match is to let fans know ahead of time that this could be the last we'll ever see of The Phenom. Build it as a career vs. career battle. Cena then claims if he can't win then he doesn't deserve to be the man anymore. To spice things up, and be extra bold in the prediction, Cena cheats to win, retiring Undertaker and turns heel! This would give their top star incredible heat, and an interesting next chapter to his career.

The Dead Man will be 52 by the time Mania 33 rolls around, meaning the longer they wait the less likely this match will be humanly possible. No matter how it plays out, it would deliver an incredible WrestleMania atmosphere, the kind you can only see at that show. With the proper build, and with both men healthy, it could be an all-time classic bout.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW.
