Wrestling Moves That LOOK Horrible (...But Are Actually Totally SAFE!)

1. Shattered Dreams

Ending with one more move that a former WWE superstar themselves has openly admitted to actually being all kinds of safe, it turns out your dreams being royally shattered wasn't as bad as it looked either.

That's according to that man Maven again, with the former Hardcore Champion revealing in that aforementioned video about how painful certain wrestling attacks were that Goldust's infamous b*ll*ck smash (at 0:43 in the clip below) wasn't anywhere near as torturous as you'd think.

Would they feel a little bit of something as Dustin Rhodes booted the turnbuckle his rivals were sat on in this vulnerable position? Sure they would. But Maven claimed that it was more of a vibration that was felt as the buckle met boot.

Ever the professional, Rhodes would prep his colleagues about how to safely take this potentially catastrophic move during the day if they'd never had the Shattered Dreams experience.

That combination of the two wrestlers trusting one another and Goldust always hitting his target just right resulted in a move which will go down in history as one of wrestling's most horrible - but still relatively safe - strikes.
