Early November 1998 witnessed the pairing of Bradshaw and Faarooq as The Acolytes. Upon their debut as a tag-team, they were managed by Don 'The Jackyl' Callis. Intriguingly, there were talks that Callis would play a bigger role in The Ministry, but he was gone from the WWF by the end of the year. After several inconsequential cameos on Sunday Night Heat, The Acolytes made their first Monday Night Raw appearance on November 30, attacking Tiger Ali Singh and Babu following their match against Val Venis.
