6. The Rock Becomes WCW Champion At SummerSlam (August 19, 2001)
Proving the point of many critics who had soured on the storyline, The Rock vanquished Booker T at SummerSlam to win the WCW World Title. The Rock would later trade WCW's top title with Chris Jericho, with the ironic twist being that Y2J hadn't come anywhere close to the championship when he actually did work for WCW. Suddenly, the top title from WCW was in possession of the WWF, whilst Steve Austin of the Alliance still held the WWF Heavyweight gold.
