16. WWF Fail To Land WCW TV Deal (April-May, 2001)

Since securing the rights to WCW in March, the McMahon family had been very outspoken about the idea of making the company separate from the WWF. Both Shane and Vince had mentioned to the media that they were launching WCW live events and planned on a television deal. Then in May, everything went quiet and talks stopped when TNN realised that the likes of Bill Goldberg and Hulk Hogan wouldn't come as part of the package.
