WWE: 10 Attitude-Era Wrestlers Who Never Won A Title
6. Kurrgan
Kurrgan entered WWF rings in 1997 as the most imposing member of the Truth Commission, a "White Separatist paramilitary group from South Africa." The group didn't last long, but Kurggan was broken off and paired with The Jackyl, a David-Koresch- style "cult-leader" manager. Under The Jackyl, Kurrgan would destroy his smaller opponents with slams, punches, and- eventually- an Iron Claw hold that he would not let go of until he dragged his opponent up the ramp by his temples. The monster seemed perfectly capable of competing for the WWF Hardcore Championship, if not for a tag team title match with The Jackyl or- later- his partner Golga in The Oddities. (Golga was the wrestler formerly known as Earthquake, who held the WWF Tag Team Championship in 1992 with partner Typhoon.) Alas, Kurrgan would not only not see any gold around his waist; he never even got the opportunity. Kurrgan never once wrestled for any title in WWF. The closest he and Golga came was a match against Mosh and Thrasher- the Headbangers- for their "WWF Tag Team Championship of the Universe", which were a pair of foam and plastic toy belts the two wore to the ring. Kurrgan and Golga won the match and the "titles," but the championship reign isn't officially recognized by anyone.
