WWE: 10 Best Facts About Daniel Bryan's Success Story

10. He's The Best Wrestler In The World

When it comes to the action and storytelling that takes place between the ropes, Daniel Bryan is the most gifted performer in the business today. Period. Due to his extensive training and background he can work a variety of styles, and is able to parlay that into great matches with any type of opponent. Along with The Shield, he was unquestionably the in-ring MVP of WWE in 2013. He had fantastic matches all year long against an assortment of competitors, turning out great performances with everyone he worked with. He tore the house down with John Cena at SummerSlam and kicked off 2014 with an early Match of the Year candidate against Bray Wyatt, basically making the newcomer a star on the spot. Bryan is incredibly well-rounded, with great babyface fire and comebacks while he's proven through his work prior to WWE that he can be an effective heel as well. He can work any style required of him and is never formulaic, despite the relative limitations of WWE "main event style". A wrestler can be overflowing with charisma, have a great look and give great promos, but if he can't go in the squared circle he's eventually going to flame out. Apologies to Bret Hart, but Daniel Bryan is the best there is.
