WWE: 10 Best Masked Wrestlers

2. Kane

Kane Despite the lack of major titles associated to Kane, there is no doubting that the "Devil's Favourite Demon" is one of the best masked wrestlers. After two failed gimmicks as Isaac Yankem, the dentist to Jerry Lawler, and "Fake Diesel" mocking Kevin Nash who had left the WWF. However, in October of 1997, Glen Jacobs was reintroduced to the WWF as the Undertakers long lost psychotic brother Kane. The Gimmick stuck and Kane has been with the WWF/WWE ever since. Kane is one of the most successful tag team champions ever, winning a variety of tag team titles 11 times. He has also held the ECW, International Heavyweight, and the WWF Championship titles one time each. Kane was the first masked wrestler in the WWF to become a Grand Slam Champion, and only the third person to achieve it in the history of the WWF/E after Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Kane's durability, and ability to have the mask, take the mask off and then re-mask have kept him relevant, but Kane has always been better in the mask than out of it. The most recent time was in 2011 when Kane once again reappeared in a mask in 2011 after a hiatus due to a broken fibula. Kane is currently still involved in the WWE and there is no doubt that a place in the WWE Hall of Fame lies in Kane's future after he retires. However, despite his age, Kane has continued to show that he has the ability to keep up with the big names on the big stages for the WWE, but hasn't been given the same amount of opportunities as other superstars have.
