The first outdoor WrestleMania helmed from Caesar's Palace saw a lavish opening ceremony for two commentators. After "Julius Caesar and Cleopatra" made their way to ringside The Macho Man was carried down to the ring on a sedan as women showered him with rose petals and fed him grapes. Dressed with the glamour expected of Savage he fit the part of a Roman King as he made his presence felt to the Vegas crowd. His co-commentator Bobby Heenan's entrance was quite the opposite. Riding to the ring on top a camel, facing backwards no less, it was a classic moment of embarrassment for The Brain. His dismount from the camel displayed none of the poise and grace of Savage's arrival and gave Savage the opportunity to humiliate him further. As always Heenan was vocal about the situation in response to Savage and Jim Ross's mockery, furious at the swap of transport.
