WWE: 10 Best Wrestlers Of 2014 (So Far)

3. Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt had two match of the year contenders in succession at the start of 2014. His Royal Rumble encounter with Daniel Bryan was superb, hard hitting back and forth action which elevated both men. The big spots mixed well with athletic transitions in the quieter periods of the match. It really was a textbook example of how an elite worker goes about his business. Bray followed this up with an astounding effort in the Shield six man battle at Elimination Chamber, proving to be a truly intelligent worker in the ring - he just gets it, he knows what to do and how to do it. However, Wyatt has since wobbled, it was almost as if he started believing his own hype. He started overselling and overdoing his work to such an extent it has at times undermined his matches. It's part of the reason why the John Cena feud has fizzled out so badly, Wyatt became too concerned with getting himself over - he plays to the crowd too much. Nevertheless, even his less memorable efforts are still solid wrestling contests. His microphone work is super confident and he is undoubtedly bound for an even bigger latter half of 2014.
