9. Camp Cornette
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhsrmdxKrDc Jim Cornette is one of the greatest managers wrestling has ever seen so it should have come as no surprise that he would assemble one of the best trios of the mid-90s in WWE. Collecting a great in-ring technician like Owen Hart, a powerhouse like "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith and a behemoth, former WWE champion like Yokozuna gave him a group of competitors that could win at any level of competition and against any team of Superstars put in front of them. Three of the most prevalent heels in the industry at the time, Camp Cornette mixed it up against the likes of Shawn Michaels, Diesel and Bret Hart on a regular basis. In 1996, Yokozuna was turned babyface and replaced by the hybrid competitor known as Vader. A big man with the agility and speed of a much smaller man, the former WCW and Japanese star made an instant impact in WWE, becoming number one contender and tearing through the competition. By the beginning of 1997, Camp Cornette had disbanded, leaving its Superstars to go their separate ways. Vader remained a key piece of the roster through the end of the year. Smith would leave the company when brother-in-law Bret Hart departed for WCW. Owen would stay with WWE until his untimely death at the 1999 Over the Edge pay-per-view event.
