With WrestleMania set as unquestionably the biggest wrestling event of the year, many of the fan's fondest memories of the sport happened there. Who could forget Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat, Shawn Michaels' retirement match against The Undertaker or Steve Austin winning his first Heavyweight Title? There have been plenty of big stars in big matches throughout the event's history that will continue to live on through generations to come. But what about the times that those same big stars competed in worthless matches? It's pretty unlikely for the top names to have a big spot on the card every year. There's only so many opponents one man or woman can feud with before the excitement is gone, and they have to move onto lesser names just to make the show. Other times, a storyline just never comes together and leaves fans disinterested. This list takes a look at some of those lackluster matches from the company's top talent over the years. The entries are only from wrestlers after they became a star, so Steve Austin vs. Savio Vega or The Rock vs. The Sultan won't be found. This is big names with big lame matches. Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
