4. Kurt Angle/Shane McMahon King Of The Ring (June 24, 2001)
As wrestling fans, we know that when they use glass in matches it's not really the same kind of glass you might find in your home. It's going to break easier in wrestling. It's going to hurt less. However, sometimes other things happen and the pain is even greater. When Kurt Angle wrestled Shane McMahon at King of the Ring 2001, it was part of the ongoing storyline where Shane bought WCW under his dad's nose and he was feuding with him. Angle was a WWE guy, so they ended up having a Street Fight. It wasn't just some average Street Fight, though. They had a very competitive match that went 26 minutes and had many memorable moments. The action went over to the set by the entrance. There was a glas casing that said "KOR" (King of the Ring) on it. Angle tried to give Shane an overhead belly to belly suplex through that glass! The problem was that it didn't break. Shane landed on the top of his head! Angle did the spot again and this time Shane went through the glass. They went over to the second glass structure except they were on the inside. Angle gave Shane another belly to belly suplex and Shane's head hit the cement again! Angle tried it again! It didn't break. At least Angle was there to catch him from landing badly. Angle figured enough of this, so he threw Shane through the glass. When you see those spots it makes you wonder how in the hell did Shane McMahon last for 26 minutes? I'm shocked he wasn't knocked out. Crazy match. What's amazing about Angle also is that this was this third match of the night after he beat Christian and lost to Edge. Shane was the one that looked like he was in more pain, but Angle went all out too. There were plenty of "holy sh*t" chants during that match and they were all deserved.
