3. Edge Spears Jeff Hardy Off A Ladder While Jeff Is Hanging (April 1, 2001 WM17)
"For the love of God, Jeff Hardy may be broken smack dab in half!" - Jim Ross It's hard to put some stuff from the TLC matches over the years while omitting others, but when it comes most memorable it's this one that will always stand out for me. Jeff Hardy climbed up to retrieve the tag titles that were hanging, but he wasn't able to pull them down. Bubba Ray Dudley showed up to yank the ladder away so Jeff couldn't balance himself. Meanwhile, Edge went climbing up another ladder that was much bigger than the others. Then it happened. With Jeff hanging from the titles, Edge jumped off the side of the really tall ladder and gave him a Spear. When you watch the move again, it's the height that is the most incredible. Doing that move off the top rope would be amazing. They were about five feet higher than that. Was it 20 feet above the ring like Jim Ross said? Maybe it was 20 feet above the floor, but above the ring it was not that high. It was still very high up and is one of the biggest "holy sh*t" moments in wrestling history.
