The Old School Raw this past week was surely a perfect platform for an appearance by 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes. He is after all a legitimate legend with an enviable reputation in the squared circle. It wasn't to be however, despite working for WWE in a backstage capacity he was not featured on the event. The reason he didn't appear? Well reportedly he is under massive heat and mistrust as a performer. This all stems from the incident back in the fall of 2013 where Dusty went off script with Stephanie McMahon. For going into business for himself (and throwing up his hand to a personally insulted Stephanie) Dusty has not been featured on television since. His lack of exposure at Old School Raw seems to be a direct repercussion of his inability to stick to the script. WWE management are said to be still taking a dismal view of the Southern legend, with no expected letup in the heat anytime soon.
