6. The Shield Splits

This situation is eerily similar to that of the previous slide. Tension was building with the ranks of the Shield, and with many tipping Roman Reigns to break out as a babyface (much like Cesaro in the Real Americans) it seemed that a meltdown was only a matter of time. However the trio have somehow found themselves back on the same page again. Now playing the role of faces, they will take on Kane and the New Age Outlaws at WrestleMania XXX. Much like I discussed in the previous slide, this recent show of unity could be no more than a temporary measure. It's worth noting that Reigns arrived to the ring on his own on Raw. Granted he was competing in a singles match, but even in such a case he is usually flanked by both Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. So could this be a sign of an imminent disintegration? Perhaps, though personally I think this would be a shame. Babyface Shield has been a joy to watch in the short time that it's been functioning, and thus the fan in me wants to see that arrangement remain for at least a few more weeks. Unfortunately though, that may not be the case though.
