WWE: 10 Bloodiest Matches Ever

5. Triple H vs. Cactus Jack - Royal Rumble 2000

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_xLXjQc6Cc This is one of my favorite matches ever. The feud became very personal with Triple H going in as the WWE Champion and Cactus Jack was a tough challenger that was known for having very violent matches all around the world. I was actually surprised that both guys didn't bleed in the same match, but they did have other matches where that was the case. In this case, Jack used a barb wire 2x4 to hit HHH in the head and that busted him open. It's one of the best blade jobs in Hunter's career at a time when he was really becoming a top guy. He was full of blood. The match ended with a Triple H Pedigree onto some tacks that were in the ring. Foley did bleed a bit from the tacks, but no blade job from him otherwise. I thought the blood added to the story of the match because it showed that the dominant champion Triple H was out of his element against a crazy guy like Jack, but he found a way to win. It really elevated Hunter and made him a major player because he could survive in a match like this. It also helped that it was one of the best matches in WWE history that took place in the famous Madison Square Garden.
