WWE: 10 Bloodiest Matches Ever

3. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker - No Mercy 2002

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUp8M4qtS2U It's the second straight Hell in a Cell match involving The Undertaker. This time he's the one that was bleeding profusely as he faced off with "The Beast" Brock Lesnar. This is remembered by fans as one of the most physical brawls in WWE history. It wasn't just the Undertaker that bled, though. Lesnar did too. Lesnar's another guy that didn't bleed too much, but he did it well here. Undertaker's blood loss was significant. Lesnar destroyed him with the steel steps. Undertaker came up bleeding heavily. It covered his entire face. I doubt he wanted it to bleed that much, but it certainly helped the story they were trying to tell. It was also very significant because Undertaker is not a guy that bled much in his career. Lesnar busting him open put over Lesnar as a beast. That's why the blood was such an important part of the story. Not only did Lesnar pin Undertaker, but he made him bleed like so few people had done before. Blood is part of the story. This match is an example of that.
