Was there ever any doubt? Stone Cold Steve Austin was the absolute perfect host of Tough Enough's fifth season and fans would absolutely love to see him back around for round two. Stone Cold was one of the many people from the Tough Enough cast that was upset that it wasn't renewed for another season on the USA Network despite it being a critical and ratings success. As great as all the other coaches that season, Stone Cold was the highlight and one reason why many fans tuned in to watch it. Both inside and outside the ring, Stone Cold is a legitimate tough guy and his intimidating exterior instilled fear in all of the rookies. At the same time, given what he's accomplish in the realm of pro wrestling and beyond, all the rookies of Tough Enough respected Austin. The Texas Rattlesnake's verbal tirades toward Ariane Andrew (better known now as Cameron), A.J. Kirsch, the eventual winner Andy Leavine and others lit a fire underneath them and motivated them to improve. Stone Cold's ability to cut a promo on anyone on the spot is what made the eliminations so entertaining to watch. Being a part of Tough Enough also saw Stone Cold appear on Raw more frequently during that time period. In fact, the WWE Hall of Famer hasn't appeared on the flagship show at all since Tough Enough ended three years ago. Not only would he make an excellent host of the show once again, it wouldn't hurt for him to show up on Raw once or twice to promote the program and the WWE Network. The only issue with Stone Cold hosting Tough Enough again is that it may not be logistically possible. Austin is currently busy with other projects outside of wrestling including his podcast and hit TV show The Broken Skull Challenge, so he may not be able to return for it even if he wanted to. Nevertheless, it would still be great to have The Bionic Redneck opening up cans of whoopass on Tough Enough for a second time later this year.
