WWE: 10 Candidates For Coaches On Revamped 'Tough Enough'

2. Jake "The Snake" Roberts

Wrestling legend Jake Roberts has had well-documented issues with drugs and alcohol in the past. He was entered in to Diamond Dallas Page's Accountability Crib a few years back and, along with Scott Hall, had a long road to recovery. He sobered up over time and finally made his highly anticipated return to WWE TV at the Old School Raw special this past January. He also took his rightful place among the immortals in the WWE Hall of Fame in April. Jake The Snake may not have a regular role on WWE TV, but he definitely should. He may not be able to handle the rigorous road schedule that comes along with being on Raw each week, but he'd make for the perfect manager for someone such as The Wyatt Family or whoever else. If he didn't want to deal with going back on the road full-time, then having him serve as a coach on Tough Enough would be the perfect role for him. Being filmed down in the WWE Performance Center in Florida, Roberts wouldn't have to be down there very long and wouldn't have to encounter any of the "demons" (drugs, alcohol, etc.) that come along with the business on the road. One thing he could teach the students better than anyone else could is in-ring psychology. Roberts was an absolute master at it back in the day and it's something that the current crop of Superstars lack. Bringing in the innovator of the DDT to help with that would benefit the contestants greatly.
