Another actor who wrestling fans showed a surprising amount of respect for was Hugh Jackman back in 2011- although why would anyone boo Wolverine?

Showing up to promote the movie Real Steel (okay there's your reason to boo him) Jackman clashed with Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero and vowed to coach an underdog wrestler to defeat the Show Off. His choice was a red hot (yes, really) Zack Ryder who was riding a wave of popularity from his Youtube show Z: True Long Island Story.

During their match, Jackman would interfere and deck Ziggler with one of the best punches ever thrown on WWE television. Ziggler sold it like the master he is. Ryder got the win and would soon go on to defeat Ziggler for the US Title at TLC 2011, as Jackman rode off into the Hollywood sunset.

Though they've since patched up their differences, fans would still pay to see a one on one match between Dolph Ziggler and Hugh Jackman. He obviously has the physique and conditioning to get through a short match and realistically could end it with one punch.

Plus he'd be wrestling Ziggler, who at this point could sell for Professor X!

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
