WWE: 10 Celebrity Guest Stars Who Should Have Wrestled
1. Mike Tyson
When the Baddest Man on the Planet and all time boxing great Mike Tyson showed up in the WWE back in 1998, fans hoped he'd be wrestling. WWE did nothing to hush those rumors when his first appearance on Raw saw him get into a shoving match with Royal Rumble winner and biggest star in the company Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Mike Tyson would only be the special guest enforcer for Austins main event match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIV, but he would get physically involved. Turning heel weeks earlier and apparently joining DX, Tyson seemed perfect for a head on collision with the Texas Rattlesnake.
Indeed, the heat between the two was so intense that the third man Shawn Michaels (who was on his way out for back surgery) was almost forgotten. The WWF Champion. Mr WrestleMania. He was almost a supporting player in his own WrestleMania main event.
Alas, Tyson would not wrestle - though he did turn face and make the 3 count to crown Austin as the new WWF Champion. He would then punch out HBK because he obviously had to punch somebody. Mike Tyson is worthy of his place in the WWE Hall of Fame, but he did everything except wrestle.
A match between Tyson and Austin at the height of their careers would have shattered box-office returns for decades to come.
